RAISING AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT AND ART APPRECIATION EXPERIENCE.
'Time and Technology' digital installation art.Time and Technology is a mixed of conventional drawing and computer animation enhanced with sound installed in a small studio. This digital installation art was aimed to convert conventional passive audience into active audience engagement and participation. It enhances visitors' interactivity by evoking their curiosity and interest and prolong their experience contemplating the art work presented through the projected animation. Visitors interact with the exhibit by switching the lights on and off to see the hidden objects installed around the room. The assemblage of old computer installed on the wall provides effects of depth when combine with the animation projected by the computer. This metaphorical artwork aimed to demonstrate an issue of how human could waste their time when consuming technology without having high working discipline as demonstrated by the working ants.

PROMOTING USER EXPERIENCE DESIGN BY USING SOUND TO EXLORE SPACES
The JourneyVisiting exhibition can be boring. The Journey is a conceptual exhibition about music era. The concept was aimed to enhance visitor experience through interactive sound to promote active visitors participation. It was produced using Macromedia Director as an interactive exhibition prototype. Hot spots were designed on each of era's wall to encourage visitors to interact to allow them to navigate and experience each era by listening to the popular music during that year.

City SpaceCity information pamphlet for tourist could be much exciting if it was designed with a little sense of playfulness.City Space is a prototype of interactive tourist information website made to promote Melbourne. It uses children digital puzzle as its concept. The actual sound was recorded from the Flinders Station, the National Library and at the Queen Victoria Market. City Space promotes fun by hiding the actual sound embedded on the illustrations. User was encourage to explore the illustrations provided that would give them idea about the environment of the place reflected by the sound. This prototype was made with Macromedia Flash.

Digital GraffitiDigital Graffiti is a simple game made using Macromedia Director. By using arrow keys user can start to paint the wall.

The Innocent Sound of St.KildaUsing Macromedia Director scripting knowledge, sound recording and composition and conventional panoramic photography, this mini interactive project takes it audience to explore the hidden story about St.Kilda; a well-known backpackers attraction in Melbourne suburb. User can walk through the panoramic photo to find the hot spots to reveal the related sound. Panoramic photo was taken using digital camera geared with panoramic tripod. Photos were then stitched together using PTGui software.
